Our awards entry for Suite Shed was exhibited at Brickworks in Launceston & was used by the Australian Institute of Architects to publicise the event.

Jane was invited to talk on a Generation Exchange panel event for EMaGN (Emerging Architects + Graduates Network) at Brickworks in Launceston.

alsoCAN has designed apartments that don't fit the cookie cutter mould. We were asked to give a talk on the subject to our peers at the AIA (Australian Institute of Architects) on 'Great Home Apartments' about multi-residential apartment design for families.

We understand what it is like to be the client, balancing design with budget. We have practical skills in designing & constructing our own developments. We gave a Deakin University REAL Lecture on 'Living in Your Ideas' about this. We've designed and constructed our own projects twice.

Dave often gives seminars on his research at sustainability, digital design and architectural heritage conferences. He was a keynote speaker at a digital humanities conference in Ottawa, Canada
