The 3 years Jane McDougall spent in the Masters of Multimedia Design have reinforced her love of computer creations, now expanded to the joy of moving pixels.

Jane discovered the joys of 3D computer modelling in Singapore in the early 90's, where she & David Beynon (aka alsoCAN) were instructors & demonstrators of 3D architectural software.

Back in Australia, initially (while alsoCAN was being established) she interspersed architectural design with training computer-illiterate architecture offices in computer aided design.

It may seem an insurmountable jump, from designing buildings to designing interactive media, but architecture develops an analytical mind, as comfortable in maths (or coding) as in design.

As we move closer to virtual reality, the 2-dimensional world of the graphic designer will progressively transform into a 3-dimensional digital world & alsoCAN visualises in 3D.
